The Telecom space has always been active in Egypt in terms of communication in general. With Ramadan acting as the yearly pinnacle of the media/marketing industry a lot has been happening here recently with Ramadan nearly two weeks in.

Video content on social media specifically has continued to grow year over year and this iteration of Ramadan is no different and despite the fact that traditional Ramadan shows and series have been pulled from YouTube viewership across the Telco space in general has continued to boom.

 

As you can see from the infographic act Vodafone is the clear winner to date in terms of communication, will this reflect in terms of actual market?

Also, will Vodafone end the month as the winner or will one of the other players be able to move and grab Vodafone’s spot on the video perch?
